REDEYE 2.1 Out Now

Posted by on August 2, 2009 at 12:18 pm.

Just a quick shout out for the release of REDEYE magazine no. 2.1 avaiable now for download from Engine Comics. This issue has been in the works for two years now and has some great features coverng indie comics from the UK, US and here.

It’s available as a PDF for less than €2. Considering it’s 114 pages long that’s more than a fair price – also helped by some great design. Hopefully this is the start of a more regular cycle for REDEYE, and there will be more coverage of Irish comix in it as well – courtesy of me.

Edit: Blogger and keeper of the Irish Comics Wiki Paddy Brown has gone a bit (well actually a lot) further back in time with a great piece of his own looking at material from the 19th Century. It’s available to read here.
